Sims mod not downloading

I'm fairly new to the Sims 4 (I'm playing on my iMac) and I began to dabble in CC! I downloaded and installed Wicked Whims mod along with a lot of other CC,

This has been tested to be working with (but does not require) GTW, OR, Get Remove all other CC and mods into a temporary folder outside the Sims 4 folder. (This mod is not compatible with Legacy versions of TS4); Make sure CC as well as any old files in your Basemental Drugs folder before installing the new version. You can delete everything in these folders, but not the folder  Custom Content lets you expand your Sims 4 game with downloads from mod sites.
